The Old Bin is a term used to refer to Bin Weevils prior to significant changes that were made throughout it's online presence. There is a fuzzy definition linking to the early bin, but it is used generally for most thing that were changed prior to 2013 through 2015.
Bin Weevils is now 13 years old! Hard to believe, isn’t it? In that time a lot has happened, so here’s a page showing the history of Bin Weevils!

Bin Weevils 1st gen
May 27th, 2003 – Bin Weevils is created, and featured as one of Nick’s games on their website in the UK!
Bin Weevils 2nd gen
September 24th, 2007 – Bin Weevils gets  its’ own website and is turned into a more ‘3D’ type of game that we see today.
September 24th, 2007 – The first ever Weevil on the new website, ‘rss’ is created.
September 27, 2007 – James, the producer of Bin Weevils, creates his weevil.
September 28, 2007 – Big Weevil is introduced to the bin.
January 15th, 2008 –  Weevil Wheels is introduced in a new area known as Dirt Valley.
March 5th, 2008 – A new area is released, the exterior of Flem Manor.
May 2nd, 2008 – Mulch Island was released, and became accessible at Rum’s Airport.
May 20st, 2008 – Bin Pets were introduced, and were available to the public.
June 27th, 2008 – You were given the ability to invite other Bin Weevils to your nest.
March 3rd, 2009 – The interior of Flem Manor was created.
April 13th, 2009 – The Secret Weevil Service(SWS) was created!
May 24th, 2009 – Tum’s Diner arrived in the Shopping Mall.
June 15th, 2009 – Figg’s Cafe arrived alongside Rigg’s Palladium.
September 22nd, 2009 – The famous Bin reporter, Scribbles was created.

April 2010 – Bin Weevils completely seperates from Nickelodeon, and drastically updates nearly the entire site.
May 5th, 2010 – Tink and Clott make their first appearance in the Bin!
May 25th, 2010 – Bin Weevil’s first ever Mulch Weekly!
June 15th, 2010 – Bin Weevils were given an exterior to their nest, as well as a garden!
June 25th, 2010 – The Nest Inspector’s magazines are released, showcasing a large selection of brilliant nests designed by many!
August 31st, 2010 – The Haggle Hut is introduced at Gong’s Pipenest, which allows weevils to sell unwanted items at a low price.
November 15th, 2010 – The Weevil Changer is introduced, allowing weevils to change their appearance!
March 14th, 2011 – The first ever Bin Weevils product is launched in the retail market!
November 21st, 2011 – Bin Weevils wins their first BAFTA award!
November 23rd, 2011 – Buddy lists receive a new, much more detailed look!
November 24th, 2011 – The SWS Headquarters is given a makeover, along with a new SWS Training Room.
December 9th, 2011 – Weevil X is introduced.
January 5th, 2012 – Mudd makes her first appearance on Tycoon Island.
January 9, 2012 – Glam makes her first appearance on Tycoon Island.
February 19th, 2012 – Tink and Clott visit London for the Imagine Children’s Festival!

November 26th, 2012 – Bin Weevils wins their second BAFTA award!

June 7th, 2013 – Garden of the Week was released! Weevils could now win their very own Garden Trophies!
August 23, 2013 – The update of Weevil post finally arrived, allowing weevils to chill in style! Scribbles also changed his body shape!
October 21, 2013 – For the fist time ever, Weevil Weekly was published!
November 24th, 2013 – Bin Weevils wins their third Bafta award!
December 4th, 2013 – Bin Pets Paradise opened, allowing weevils to train their pets through various mini-games!
January 29th, 2014 – Club Fling completely updated, now all colourful and modern!
February 21, 2014 – The Shopping Mall had a refurnish! Now there was only one big shop on the ground floor, Nestco!
March 4th, 2014 – Ram’s Popup came to the Bin! Just located outside of Flem Manor!
May 13, 2014 – The Buddy Messages got updated! Now Weevils were allowed to send and receive messages from anywhere in the Bin!
May 20th, 2014 – Stripy legs were available to all Bin Tycoons, giving them a very unique look! And to make it better, now the Weevil Changer became available to ALL weevils!
June 20th, 2014 – After a long time of waiting, Bin Weevils finally opened the upstairs to Weevil Post and levels 66-70 were finally made obtainable!
July 18th, 2014 – The Summer Fair arrived! It was bigger and better than the previous years, Bin Weevils had obviously worked hard on it!

September 12th, 2014 – After a week of maintenance due to Bin Weevils’ security being breached by hackers known as Adrian and Pure, a new area called Nest Street is introduced.
September 23rd, 2014 – The first episode of Bin Weevils Banter is released.
October 1st, 2014 – The Super Antenna Quest returns, this time with Super Legs!
October 15th, 2014 – The Nest Hall is redesigned.
November 22nd, 2014 – Bin Weevils wins their fourth BAFTA award!
February 12, 2015 – Rum’s Luggage Rummage is introduced along with a redesigned Rum’s Airport.
March 9th, 2015 – Sink’s Ships is introduced along with a new area, Sink’s Submarine.
November 23rd, 2015 – Bin Weevils doesn’t win their fifth BAFTA award!
April 29th, 2016 – Levels 71-80 were made obtainable!
